The OTG power line generates various interferences and noises that affect the power supply to the headphones. It is obvious that the phone is not an ideal power source for headphones.
To address this challenge, iBasso has specially developed the CB19 series cables. The CB19C represents the next generation of this series. With the CB19C, headphones or certain USB decoders can be powered externally and independently.
By breaking the loop between the phone's power output, the headphones, and the negative pole (system ground), the CB19C eliminates EMI and noise from the phone's power supply. Even a standard or high-quality power bank can be sufficient to replace the phone's power supply.
From that point on, the small device no longer consumes the phone's battery, but is powered by the CB19C with high-quality, low-noise power, allowing the small device to deliver superior acoustic performance.
The CB19C's power interface also uses a Type-C interface, which can be paired with more compact and portable mobile power banks. The CB19C also extends the cable length, making the connection less restrictive and further improving the user experience.
