Internal architecture of the Grip
Based on the third generation of the ddHiFi TC44 series, the Grip uses two CS43198 DAC chips to redefine the audio experience with multidimensional technical advantages.
The amplifier section uses two independent SGM8262-2 operational amplifiers. A special tuning control has been applied to the amplitude stacking of the DAC and amplifier to ensure a fatigue-free listening experience.
In addition, the Grip is equipped with highly efficient power supply and charging management chips, giving it unparalleled sound quality in the TC44 series.
External connection of the Grip
The Grip breaks with the traditional concept of the “dangling dongle” by integrating a thick, shielded pure silver cable into its housing.
On the back of the housing is a special cable groove that allows the cable to slide back and forth easily when plugging and unplugging. A wide curve at the bottom of the housing ensures a uniform, streamlined aesthetic.
Listening while charging
Your phone automatically detects the headphone output mode and switches so you can connect either 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm headphones and use them immediately.
If you use 3.5 mm headphones with an integrated microphone and remote control functions, you can control music playback and make calls directly via the inline controls.
Charging your phone
The TC44Grip conveniently supports music playback while your phone is charging. Connect a PD-compatible power adapter to the USB-C charging port for fast charging up to 60W.
*Actual charging power depends on the PD protocol compatibility of the playback device and the connected power adapter. Field tests show: iPhone 16 Pro – max. 25W, Android smartphones – 10–30W, tablets/laptops – max. 60W.
Decorative pad
For added comfort and grip, attach the included decorative pad to the carbon fiber surface of the TC44Grip. The package includes two color options: black and khaki.
Simply choose your preferred style and attach it to the desired location.
The included aluminum alloy attraction pad contains a strong magnet with high attractive force, ideal for prolonged and intensive daily use.
The leather attraction pads contain an embedded ferromagnetic plate with medium strength, suitable for occasional use.
