Dual flagship-class CS43198 DAC chip
The MoonRiver 3 is equipped with two Cirrus Logic flagship DAC chips of the CS43198 type, complemented by two independent, powerful two-channel amplifier chips, a latest-generation Hi-Fi USB interface, as well as five separate power supply chips that individually power each IC. The result is a complete Hi-Fi circuit with high power, extremely low distortion, low noise, and a rich, sonorous timbre.
Fusion of functionality and aesthetics
The precision-milled housing, made from a single piece of stainless steel, combines with a semi-transparent window in the characteristic Yuki cutout pattern to create a successful union of function and design. The ergonomic shape, smoothly flowing contour lines, and the distinctive "crater" recess around the knob prevent accidental adjustment while ensuring intuitive, effortless operation.
Volume control with push function and 100 steps
The MoonRiver 3 features a physical volume control with a push function, which lets you pause playback, while providing precise haptic feedback when turned. The 100-step digital encoder enables nearly lossless volume adjustment and effectively decouples the device's volume control from that of the connected smartphone. The ergonomic design ensures smooth, precise, and effortless operation.
Powerful balanced and unbalanced output
The MoonRiver 3 supports a balanced output of 4 Vrms / 500 mW as well as an unbalanced 3.5 mm output, effortlessly driving even large headphones while maintaining an extremely low noise level and a dynamic, rich timbre.
2nd generation DSP with interactive online connection
Sound can be individually adjusted via the updated MOONDROP app or the WEB platform: the advanced online DSP system offers a community-maintained library of headphone frequency responses, as well as a parametric equalizer for professional-level tuning.
