New XTM Complex Technology Series: a Sophisticated Multi-Driver IEM in an All Balanced-Armature Design

The XTM series has always been defined by its commitment to complex engineering and advanced technologies, meticulously applied to achieve pure, exceptional sound reproduction. The Balanced Armature Art series represents a distinct interpretation of this philosophy. Since hybrid driver configurations have come to dominate the market, products built around a pure balanced-armature design have become increasingly rare, yet the demand for premium pure balanced-armature earphones remains strong. To elevate the inherently pure, cohesive and detailed sonic character of balanced-armature IEMs, this new series was developed with fresh design concepts and an unwavering pursuit of sonic purity.

4+4+4 Balanced Three-Way Frequency Crossover

Pure pursuit of uniform energy distribution and seamless sound connection. The XTM series is focused on sound reproduction, rather than simply increasing the frequency crossover count. In the AA12, the principle of three-frequency balance has been implemented via a 4+4+4 three-way crossover structure that features equal driver counts and energy across all frequencies. A unique four-in-one balanced armature driver module was also custom-developed for this model, which, combined with our long-proven high-precision 3D-printing technology, improves consistency in both volume and sound quality.

Four-in-One Large-Sized Bass Module

Bass balanced armature driver equipped with an open-back stainless steel diaphragm. It consists of four custom stainless steel diaphragm balanced armature drivers, each with an open back. Sound consistency is precisely controlled through the four-in-one acoustic design, ensuring a bass signature that offers both deep extension and rapid response.

Four-in-One Treble Module

Miniature aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm balanced armature drivers. It consists of four custom miniature diaphragms that not only respond rapidly but also provide a wide coverage bandwidth. This four-in-one module, created using balanced armature packaging technology, enhances the consistency of treble production, ensuring precise treble and detail.

Complex and Accurate Acoustic Structure – In-Depth Cooperation with Leading 3D-Printing Supplier HeyGears

The intricate acoustic structure of the XTM series presents significant challenges for the accuracy and reliability of the 3D-printing process. After several years of collaboration, a long-term strategic partnership has been formed with HeyGears Technology, a leader in 3D printing. Thanks to their high-precision DLP 3D-printing technology and an ongoing alignment on accuracy and stability requirements, it is now possible to mass-produce components with complex structures that meet stringent precision standards.

Faithful Timbre and Imaging – High Phase Consistency, Rigorous Tuning

Designed and adjusted by experienced acoustic developers, the product undergoes rigorous, objective measurement to ensure high phase consistency across all frequency bands, resulting in more accurate sound orientation and a more natural timbre. With years of development experience and accumulated know-how in multi-driver headphones, MOONDROP is able to create a pure balanced-armature structure that delivers a true, beautiful timbre, achieved through innovative design as well as extensive subjective and objective comparison and adjustment.

Interchangeable 0.78 mm 2-Pin Cable Design

Includes a mixed earphone cable with an interchangeable plug. This model is equipped with a 0.78 mm 2-pin socket, allowing the listening experience to be expanded by swapping cables or accessories, such as the EVO module or the FreeDSP Pro cable. To help match the cable to individual setups, a newly designed earphone cable with an interchangeable plug is included. This cable is made from high-purity copper with a Litz structure and features a newly designed screw-fixed interchangeable plug, combining aesthetic design with practicality.

The package includes both a 3.5 mm single-ended and a 4.4 mm balanced plug. Please pay attention to the indicated direction when replacing the plug.

Includes ddHiFi ST35 Ear Tips – Ergonomic Design, Skin-Friendly Finish

ddHiFi ST35 silicone ear tips are based on an ergonomic design that conforms closely to the ear canal, providing better comfort than ordinary silicone ear tips. The ST35 tips use a two-color medical-grade silicone created through a secondary fusion molding process, with a skin-friendly surface finish to enhance the wearing experience. In terms of sound quality, the ST35 delivers a natural signature without altering the intended tuning, allowing each instrument to sound distinct and each note to remain clear.
