The Avant is the culmination of Linsoul's R&D knowledge so far, and its first step towards redefining the IEM market.
Tribrid Driver Configuration
The Avant is built on a tribrid platform, combining 2 dynamic drivers, 3 balanced armature drivers and 1 solid-state MEMS driver per ear. This configuration brings together the strengths of each driver type, targeting the frequencies they excel in and combining their distinct textural and tonal qualities into a cohesive presentation. The result is a thundering sub-bass impact, natural and tonally neutral mids, and lightning-fast treble articulation.
Transients Like Never Before: The MEMS Driver
Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) represent the latest innovation in in-ear monitor driver technology.
Linsoul's MEMS driver is a silicon-based solid-state design specifically tuned to maximize output efficiency at minimal voltages.
Unlike other MEMS drivers that require significant amplification, this design operates fully at the same voltage levels as the dynamic and balanced armature drivers, letting listeners actually experience its transient speed.
The result is crisp micro-detail, an airy soundstage and rich texture.
Sub-Bass Rumble
The Avant uses Linsoul's custom-designed dual dynamic driver sub-woofer.
Two 10 mm PET diaphragm drivers were chosen for deep rumble and bass texture. Arranged in a dome-to-dome, constant-pressure configuration, the 2DD sub-woofer produces powerful, focused kick-bass punch and rich bass notes.
Natural Midrange
Custom midrange drivers and genuine Knowles balanced armature drivers were chosen to produce articulate, natural mids and treble.
Two custom 653011 full-sized BA drivers emphasize vocal presence and neutral instrument timbre, while a Knowles 33518 tweeter is configured to maximize ultra-treble output while staying smooth and fatigue-free.
A New Modern Tuning
The Avant balances traditional and modern sound signature preferences. The sub-bass delivers a robust 9 dB output, focused precisely between 20 and 200 Hz.
The midrange follows a modern warm-neutral tuning, with a 1 dB delta between 200 Hz and 1 kHz, balancing neutrality with richness for both professional monitoring and musical enjoyment.
Treble peaks precisely at 3 kHz with a 9 dB output, balancing the sub-bass while emphasizing vocal bite and clarity, before decaying gradually in the upper treble to preserve detail retrieval while staying smooth.
All of this is underpinned by the focused transient speed of the MEMS driver.
Detachable Custom Cable
The Avant comes standard with a detachable 2-pin, 0.78 mm cable, letting users customize their listening experience while extending the longevity of the in-ear monitors.
