SR11 music streaming receiver

The SR11 is a powerful, lossless streaming music receiver, also known as a streamer, that supports various network streaming protocols.

In combination with an external decoder, you can easily set up a streaming hi-fi system and enjoy lossless audio streams at a high bit rate.

AirPlay streaming protocol

Connect to an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, iMac or Mac mini and stream to the SR11 via AirPlay for a smooth and convenient listening experience.

Enjoy Roon Ready streaming in the future

With Roon, you can conveniently manage both online and local music libraries by enabling fast playback of local music from a NAS or other devices and easy access to the streaming music catalogue.

If you have multiple audio systems set up, Roon allows you to control different devices to play different or the same music for a fully integrated and convenient streaming experience.

Roon Ready certification is currently being worked on, Roon is running in test mode until then, but without limitation of functions, but the SR11 will not be displayed as SR11 underRoon until then.

FIIO will officially announce later when the functionality is ready.

Comprehensive digital outputs

The optical, coaxial, USB Type-A and USB Type-C digital outputs ensure that you can easily connect the device of your choice for real-time music streaming.

Listen to hi-fi music without having to rely on cables.

Powerful multi-core processor with ultra-low power consumption

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can the Roon Ready functionality be used now?

A: The SR111 comes with built-in firmware that includes a test Roon Ready mode. This test mode does not affect regular use - however, the default name of the device displayed on your computer's Roon Core may vary and can be changed to any name.

Q: Does this device support DLNA/UPnP?

A: DLNA is based on the UPnP protocol to allow sharing of media content between different devices. Android devices typically use DLNA technology for screen casting and playback. However, due to Android system policies, certain music apps may experience compatibility issues during extended playback. Therefore, the official firmware for the SR11 does not include DLNA functionality. If you wish to use DLNA/UPnP, please contact customer service to obtain a test firmware version that enables DLNA functionality.

Q: Can audio signals be output from both USB ports simultaneously?

A: In addition to the dedicated USB-C power input, the SR11 also has two USB outputs: a USB-A port and a USB-C port. While both of these ports can be connected and output to external decoders, they cannot output audio at the same time. By default, the first connected device is used for external output.

Q: Why does the displayed sample rate sometimes not match the actual sample rate of the currently playing track?

A: The sample rate displayed on the SR11 screen represents the sample rate determined from the received data signal. Some players can perform sample rate conversion (SRC) during audio playback. For example, in AirPlay mode, the iOS device converts all audio data to 44.1 kHz, which is then transmitted to the SR11 - this is displayed as 44.1 kHz and no longer shows the original sample rate of the track. When playing DSD tracks in Roon Ready mode, the SR11 only supports DoP output. So if you are using the USB output, the SR11 will display the DoP stream that the downstream device can process, which is usually half of the native DSD stream it supports. If you use the S/PDIF output, DSD64 will be output throughout.

Q: Can the SR11 be connected via USB to a computer or phone as a USB DAC?

A: The SR11 only supports the reception of streaming media data and does not have a USB DAC decoding function. It can only output digital signals via USB, coaxial and optical outputs.

Q: What is MIX mode and how can it be used? A: In MIX mode, you can stream audio signals directly to the SR11 via either Roon or AirPlay. However, the two modes cannot receive audio at the same time; only one device can stream to the SR11 at a time.

Q: Why can't my phone or player find the SR11, or why is there no audio output?

A: Firstly, make sure that your SR11 and the casting device (e.g. a phone, tablet or player) are properly connected to the same local network. Next, make sure that the current mode of the SR11 matches the casting method of your device. Finally, make sure that the output mode of the SR11 matches the mode of the decoder. So make sure that both the SR11 and the decoder are set to coaxial, optical or USB mode and that they are connected correctly. If you cannot use the SR11 with your device even though you have checked all the above points, please visit FIIO's official website (www.fiio.com) to read the FAQ or contact customer service for further professional help.

Network tips

1. wired network Simply connect a wired Ethernet cable that is part of the LAN network you want to use to the Ethernet port of the SR11 - the network configuration will be done automatically by the SR11.

2. wireless network Please read the quick start guide or scan the QR code below to watch the network configuration video. 3. can you be connected to wired and wireless networks at the same time? You can set up the SR11 so that it can be connected to both a wired and wireless network, but both networks will not be used at the same time. The wired network has priority. If the SR11 is connected to the network via a cable, it automatically switches to the wired connection. As soon as the Ethernet cable is disconnected, the SR11 automatically switches to the wireless connection.
