AFUL Performer8S

is the new multi-driver hybrid in-ear monitor from AFUL.

The new Performer 8S was developed as an upgrade to the highly acclaimed Performer 5 and Performer 8 models and has been completely redesigned with a new Quadbrid driver architecture.

It features an amazing configuration with 1 DD, 6 BA, 1 passive radiator, and 1 microplanar magnetic driver on each side.

Inspired by the “echoes of Jupiter,” the Performer 8S captivates with its breathtaking design and elegant front panels.

The Performer 8S combines its sophisticated 9-driver architecture with patented acoustic technologies such as RESInators micro-resonance technology, a high-precision 3D-printed acoustic structure, RLC network crossover correction, and more. In addition, the AFUL Performer 8S features a unique dual-mode bass tuning.

The pair features an innovative, adjustable passive radiator system that allows users to choose between closed mode for tight, punchy bass and open mode for deep and elastic low-frequency reproduction.

Next-generation quad-brid driver configuration

The AFUL Performer 8S is a step ahead of previous IEMs in the Performer series.

Instead of a traditional DD+BA arrangement, the P8S features a quad-brid configuration.

Each side is equipped with 9 drivers, including a dynamic driver, six powerful balanced armature drivers, a micro planar driver, and a dedicated passive radiator driver.

This PR driver has an adjustable design that allows users to switch between closed and open modes.

Dual-mode bass tuning option

Unlike tuning switches or interchangeable tuning nozzles, the P8S features a unique variation of two-stage bass options.

The pair features an adjustable passive radiator system that allows users to use the PR driver in open or closed settings.

Closed mode delivers solid, atmospheric, punchy bass, while open mode offers a deeper, more elastic and softer bass character.

Patented RLC network crossover technology

AFUL's signature RLC (Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor) crossover technology is used to get the most out of the P8S's 9-driver configuration.

The crossover has been carefully tuned to perfectly optimize the 9 drivers, eliminate resonance peaks, and ensure a smooth, detailed, EST-like high frequency range with a wide extension up to 35 kHz.

Advanced RESInator micro-resonance technology

To further enhance the crossover design, AFUL has implemented its own RESInators micro-resonance technology in the P8S.

This technology uses ultra-precise, 3D-printed micro-resonance channels that correct the non-ideal behavior of the drivers and equalize their performance across the entire frequency range, ensuring a highly coherent sound profile.

This significantly improves the overall performance of the set and ensures high-resolution clarity across a wide frequency range.

High-quality aesthetics inspired by “Echoes of Jupiter”

AFUL drew inspiration from “Echoes of Jupiter” for the design.

The front panels feature the swirling storms and cloud bands at Jupiter's north pole.

The pair is made from medical-grade resin material using high-precision 3D printing technology.

The pair is not only visually impressive, but also optimized for high wearing comfort.

High-quality standard cable

AFUL supplies the Performer8S with a high-purity standard cable.

It is a 6-core cable with 392 strands, consisting of silver-plated 4N single-crystal copper and single-crystal copper wire conductors.

The cable has 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors and is available with 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm connector plugs.
