The pair is equipped with a 14-driver quad-brid configuration on each side, combined with several innovative technologies specifically designed to get the most out of each driver.
Through precise calculations and experimental adjustments, AFUL has designed customized complex acoustic structures based on the performance of each individual driver type used in the Dawn-X.
Six-way crossover
AFUL has implemented a multidimensional 6-way electronic + 6-way physical crossover system that gives the pair next-generation performance.
AFUL Dawn-X also features a high-damping air pressure equalization system that was previously used in the Performer 8 IEMs. In addition, RLC network frequency division correction technology is used, which effectively suppresses peaks caused by inherent resonance, especially in the high frequency range.
Through precise adjustments, AFUL has tuned the Dawn-X to deliver a powerful, punchy sound with excellent resolution. The pair achieves an extremely wide frequency band, resulting in a fascinating sound profile that complements various music genres.

The Dawn brings a refreshing configuration: as its name suggests, the AFUL DAWN-X brings new morning energy; it captures the beauty of your sound, just like the beautiful scene when the first rays of sun touch the horizon.
The pair is equipped with a quad-brid configuration with 14 drivers on each side, housing one dynamic driver, eight balanced armature drivers, four electrostatic drivers, and one bone conduction driver. While most EST-based hybrid IEMs on the market implement EST for frequencies above 8-9 kHz, AFUL has achieved an innovative feat by extending EST coverage starting from the 5 kHz range.
3D Micro-Resonance Acoustic Path Technology
AFUL DAWN-X is no easy feat, even for the most experienced brands. To get the most out of each driver unit, AFUL has developed a specially designed 3D micro-resonance acoustic path technology. They have designed complex acoustic structures based on the characteristics of dynamic drivers, balanced armature drivers, electrostatic drivers, and bone conduction drivers.
Through precise calculations and continuous experimental adjustments, DAWN-X achieves seamless integration between drivers and ensures crystal-clear sound with extremely low distortion from multiple drivers.
Broadband electrostatic technology
Most EST-based IEMs only feature EST implementation in the ultra-high frequency range above 9 kHz. Through a unique acoustic structure, AFUL enables the electrostatic driver to operate effectively over a wide frequency range from 5 kHz to 20 kHz and beyond.
This gives the Dawn-X a distinctive EST character: not only does the pair sound extremely detailed, but it also has a silky-smooth, effortless character.
Air pressure equalization system
The AFUL DAWN-X features the highly acclaimed high-damping pressure equalization system that AFUL introduced in the Performer 8.
This unique technology regulates the build-up of air pressure in your ears, providing you with an extremely comfortable wearing experience. In addition, thanks to the correct air pressure regulation, the Dawn-X delivers a fascinating bass texture with elastic, deep bass reproduction.

The cable features an 8-strand 3D braided design with composite wire cores that ensure smooth signal transmission with minimal internal resistance and signal loss. The cable features standard 0.78 mm 2-pin plugs and a 4.4 mm balanced connector plug.
