Audio codecs
The Qudelix-5K is the world's first Bluetooth DAC/AMP to support all current codec technologies, including aptX Adaptive, LDAC, AAC, aptX HD, aptX and SBC.
 
QCC512x
Qualcomm's new QCC5100 low-power Bluetooth SoC series is designed for advanced Bluetooth applications. The breakthrough SoC series is designed to reduce power consumption by up to 65 per cent for both voice calls and music streaming, compared to the previous CSR8675 solution. It is designed to dramatically reduce power consumption and offers enhanced processing capabilities.
Qudelix-5K is the world's first Bluetooth DAC/AMP designed with the QCC512x chipset. The QCC512x's ultra-low power consumption and highest performance DSP capability enable the Qudelix-5K to maintain high bit rate LDAC streaming more safely and for longer.
 
Buttons and LEDs
The 5K has four buttons and two LEDs. The volume buttons have a red LED, and the multifunction buttons have a blue LED. You can easily identify and distinguish the left and right buttons by the LED colour.
 
RF antenna
The high-sensitivity 3-dimensional LDS antenna is printed on the bottom of the housing and is located around the red LED button. The Qudelix 5K provides the best RF performance for most applications. However, for best performance, keep this area away from metallic surfaces.
 
PCBA
To improve the reliability and durability of the PCB, we have filled the sensitive BGA parts with epoxy resin, although this adds cost. These parts are joined twice by soldering and epoxy underfilling.

Battery life
Use only a standard 5V charger or PC USB. (Do NOT use a fast charger or Apple chargers).
Permanent damage caused by the use of a fast charger will void the warranty.
Battery life varies depending on codec, sampling rate, power profile and output mode. The sensitivity of the connected ear/headphones and the output volume may also increase or decrease the battery life.

5K supports 96KHZ/24-bit USB audio streaming.

Simultaneously charge and stream from your PC or laptop while maintaining Bluetooth connectivity with a smartphone, and control all of the Qudelix-5K's features from the accompanying mobile app.
Any incoming sound or call from the smartphone is automatically forwarded to the 5K, even if you are listening to music through the 5K USB DAC.
 
Qudelix has tried many DACs and amplifier ICs and concluded that the ESS9218p is the best option for the best performance and sound. Besides the sound quality, the main advantage of the ESS9218p is that the built-in amplifier provides a maximum output voltage of up to 2V RMS. It also supports the 1V RMS option with the same sound quality to save power.
For high-sensitivity IEMs, the noise figure of the amplifier is most important. The high-sensitivity IEM is so sensitive that it converts any electrical noise or thermal drift into audible acoustic sound, usually white noise.
High impedance headphones, on the other hand, require a more powerful amplifier. These headphones usually have low sensitivity and are free of white noise, which is affected by the noise characteristics of the amplifier. Instead, they require more power at the amplifier output to deliver sufficient volume and headroom.
Qudelix has designed the software and app to give you full access to all of the ES9219C's internal options.
 
Volume control
Qudelix 5K offers associative 2-way volume control for optimal sound quality. The fully scaled audio stream is always maintained and guaranteed via Bluetooth or USB. In either case, you can control the volume from the smartphone source or the volume of the 5K device without any loss.
