Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC transmission

The Topping D90SE is Hi-Res Audi Wireless certified and uses the CSR8675 chipset. This enables the use of LDAC, AAC, SBC, APTX, APTX LL and APTX HD. For even better sound, the DAC of the Bluetooth chipset is not used for conversion, but the digital signal is passed to the ESS ES9038 Pro for decoding and conversion.

Turn your PC into a hi-fi system

The D90SE uses the second generation of the 16-core XMOS XU216 and thus supports full MQA decoding, PCM 32bit/768kHz and DSD512 native. With the help of the adapted Thesycon ASIO driver (for Win 10), the DAC becomes part of the home hi-fi system.

 

Selectable outputs

The Topping D90SE has stereo RCA outputs as well as balanced 2 x 3-pin XLR outputs. The outputs can either be controlled individually or even used in parallel as an output source. Thus, a wide portfolio of uses is realised.

 

XLR 4V/5V & RCA 2V/2.5V

For ideal integration into your existing system, the output voltages of the XLR and RCA outputs can be configured.

 

Preamplifier

In addition to the DAC mode with fixed output level, the DAC + preamplifier mode can be activated. In DAC and preamplifier mode, the output power is variably adjustable. For example, the volume of connected active speakers can be adjusted via the remote control of the Topping D90SE.
