Hybrid Power System

The Shanling UA5 offers two modes of power supply. One is the hybrid power system, which uses the Shanling UA5's internal battery. Here, the main part of the required energy is drawn from the UA5's internal battery. By separating the circuits, the sound quality of the UA5 increases and the battery of the smartphone is conserved. On the other hand, the UA5 offers USB power mode, whereby the required power is provided entirely from the USB port. When using the hybrid mode, it automatically switches to USB power as soon as the battery is empty.

Digital Analogue Converter with HiFi DAC Quality

Already proven in players, two of the warm and natural sounding ESS ES9038Q2M digital analogue converters are built into the Shanling UA5.

Gaming compatible

Press and hold the volume wheel while connecting to the device. This activates UAC1.0 mode, which is compatible with many devices.

When screen on:

Press once - screen off Z

Press twice - fix volume

Turn - Volume

Press and hold for two seconds to enter the menu

In the menu

- Press once = Go to next setting In menu

- Turn = Adjust the setting In the menu

- Press for two seconds = Exit menu

Scope of delivery: USB-C connector. USB-C to USB-C cable and adapter to USB-A included. With the matching Lightning cable (not included), the UA5 can be connected to your Apple device.
