Shanling is designing and manufacturing high-end audio machines for past 33 years and over this time they worked with pretty much all types and classes of speakers, few of them designed by themselves. And all of this accumulated experience was put into the creation of the JET1.

Aluminium Front Panel

Made from a high-grade aluminium on highly precise CNC machines, the front panel not only looks great, but also helps in shaping the great sound of Shanling JET1.

Air Motion Transformer

AMT tweeters offer many advantages over classic dome designs. Providing a larger speaker area, a higher sensitivity, while keeping a lower distortion. They are characteristic for their clear presentation and great layering, which helps in building a more elaborate soundstage. Normally available only in speakers in a significantly higher price range than JET1.

AMT working principle

Special type of tweeter, using design with strong magnetic fields and a diaphragm made of folded film, in sort of bellows like construction. This film is covered with precisely positioned pathways, which then act as the voice coil.

Woofer – 4.5 Inch Mid-Bass Speaker

This woofer provides lows and mids that are rich and powerful sounding, yet always accurate and tight just enough. Offering a great balance between smooth and detailed.

MDF Cabinet

Made from high-density MDF material, assuring a robust construction and coherent sound properties. Helping with reducing resonances and providing a rich natural tone.

Shanling JET1 speaker works in a semi-closed design, with a rear port helping out with the low frequency response. Extending its reach to the lower tones and making sure that bass has a proper “kick” when its needed.

Anti-vibration Spikes

Speaker comes with a set of spikes, which will help significantly in reducing vibration and transmissions to any surface under the speaker. Making sure that the audio performance is not affected by any unwanted resonances.
