A D/A converter and headphone amplifier couldn't be designed any smaller than the new solutions from FiiO Electronics Technology Co. Ltd. with the new FiiO LF-TC Magnetic.

With the FiiO LF-TC Magnetic DAC and Headphone Amplifier, the Chinese specialist for personal audio devices FiiO Electronics Technology Co. Ltd. presents by far the smallest D/A converter with integrated headphone amplifier currently available on the market.

At least if you consider that the central component is a D/A converter that can process audio signals with up to 32 bits and 384 kHz as well as DSD including DSD256.

Smaller is probably as good as it gets

It is fair to say that with the current state of the art, such a device cannot be made any smaller. After all, the new FiiO LF-TC Magnetic DAC solution measures only 28 mm in length, 24 mm in width and 9 mm in height. Thus, the two D/A converters plus headphone amplifier weigh only 5 g.

New patent for adapter as basis

These tiny dimensions were achieved by FiiO Electronics Technology Co. Ltd. developing a new system that does away with something essential, namely conventional connectors.

The new FiiO LF-TC Magnetic DAC has a magnetic quick release for connection to the FIiO LF-RB.
