The vast majority of Earmen's entire production - chassis, circuit boards, transformers, assembly, etc. - are made in Europe.
One of the best DAC Chops from ESS

The Sparrow is powered by the ES9281PRO, the flagship of the ESS line, which offers best-in-class audio performance with 124 dB DNR and -112 Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise (THD+N). The ES9281PRO is the first USB product to offer an integrated hardware MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) renderer, making MQA playback simple and cost-effective. The encoding process inserts additional information into the signal that can be recovered later. The ES9281PRO automatically detects the MQA stream and initiates rendering. The entire process requires no additional development work.
Low Noise Design

By using super-LOW-ESR tantalum capacitors, high-quality components in the power supply design and 4-layer gold-coated PCB technology from the PC and smartphone industry, Sparrow reduces noise to a minimum. This results in an improvement in fine detail, especially with Hi-Res files where you can feel and hear the difference.
MQA rendering

Sparrow includes MQA renderer technology that can connect to an MQA core signal and perform the final deconvolution of an MQA file. This product includes "Stream Lock" but is not capable of decoding an MQA stream or authenticating it.

MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that reproduces the sound of the original master recording. The MQA master file is fully authenticated and small enough to stream or download.
Gold-plated PCB

Sparrow's PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is 4-layer gold plated, which is unsurpassed in terms of quality and performance. A gold-plated PCB guarantees minimal loss of sound quality.
Stylish hand-held

Sparrow is housed in a lightweight but robust aluminium case that protects the audio signal from interference. When paired with a smartphone, Sparrow is the perfect device. The design with rounded edges ensures that the Sparrow feels like part of the cable without catching on anything.
